HOLIDAYS! {giveaway}

To celebrate the season, I thought I'd join the bandwagon and do a giveaway! Here's the deal. If you've ever had a session with me (then you rock), leave a comment on this post and the randomly drawn winner will receive one 8x10 print of their choice (from their session). Leave a comment on this post by Sunday night at 9pm telling me your favorite thing about the holiday season. If you haven't had a session and want a print of something like my vineyard photography, you can leave a comment too and let me know what photo you'd like. The winner will be announced either Sunday night or Monday morning.

congratulations, Rachel!

The Rodemacks!
Another return family from last year (you can see the shoot HERE). This kid is full of energy and totally cute. Sometimes he wouldn't look at the camera to save his life and other times he would totally pose for me. I am in love with several of these shots:

we'll end this with my favorite shot of the day:

Dion Vineyard
My grandfather and I went to Dion Vineyard last weekend for the sole purpose of taking pictures. The leaves are starting to change and the weather was really wonderful. It was my first real try at "landscape" type photography, where I got to just go into my own world and spend as much time as I wanted with the area. I have a lot to learn (I took a lot more photos that weren't winners), but I am very pleased with how these turned out. Grandpa and I are planning on going back to the vineyard when the leaves are even more gold.
