HOLIDAYS! {giveaway}

To celebrate the season, I thought I'd join the bandwagon and do a giveaway! Here's the deal. If you've ever had a session with me (then you rock), leave a comment on this post and the randomly drawn winner will receive one 8x10 print of their choice (from their session). Leave a comment on this post by Sunday night at 9pm telling me your favorite thing about the holiday season. If you haven't had a session and want a print of something like my vineyard photography, you can leave a comment too and let me know what photo you'd like. The winner will be announced either Sunday night or Monday morning.

congratulations, Rachel!

My favorite thing about the holiday season is family, particularly this year as I see the excitement of my almost three year old as she sees the lights, plays with her nativity and pretends to wrap presents. Sharing our traditions with her is my favorite thing this year!

My #1 favorite thing about the holiday season is getting to spend time with family and a close 2nd is going to the mall and watching the little kids get their picture taken with santa, the funny things they do when they are on his lap and seeing their eyes light up! (well minus the few that are in tears!!!) I also love warm drinks, pretty lights, silly decorations, etc. I have too many favorites :-)

I love spending time with family that we don't get to see very often. I love to bake goodies and teach my girls about the real meaning of Christmas!

I love decorating homeade sugar cookies and having a real reason to bake, and bake and bake! I also can't get enough of my
Grandma's "Dickens Villages..." She has over 100 now and every year she constructs towns and hill on mounds of books with fresh snow (quilt badding), in three rooms (the biggest town is about 14 ft. long). It is so magical and the brand of the houses are so tasteful and enchanting.

My favorite things are the traditions...the simple things we do every year that remind us how lucky we are to have the things that we have...especially family and friends.

My favorite thing about the holidays is seeing all the magic of the season through my children's eyes.
